REFUGE MINISTRIES
Welcome to the Refuge Ministries home page. I am excited that you are checking out our website. Whether you are a first-time visitor or have been a part of EBY (East Brainerd Youth) for years, we hope you will find all the information you will need to get acquainted with this ministry. We believe that our “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Ps 46:1). Refuge Ministries is a place where we can take comfort in Him…that we can escape the temptations of this dark world and take shelter with one another in our God. I hope you choose to be a part of this ministry.
YOUTH EVENTS
Refuge Ministries involves EBY (East Brainerd Youth) in 6th – 12th grades as well as their families. We regularly meet three times a week with additional fun and service events, mission trips, retreats, and camps throughout the year.
WHEN WE MEET
Sunday Bible Classes 10:30am
On Sunday Morning Refuge Ministries gather together for Bible studies that will enhance their knowledge, understanding, and application of the Word. Classes are split between Jr. High (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th). Jr. High are studying the Life of Christ while the High School are studying the Life of David.
Sunday Evenings 6-8pm
Sunday Evenings change each week. We alternate between small group setting with the youth and meeting with the rest of the body for a larger Sunday night service. We also have Sunday night devotionals every other week. Once a month we meet together as an entire youth group. Once a month the Jr. High will meet together and the High School will meet the following month.
Wednesday Nights 6-8pm
Every Wednesday we meet together in the EBY Room for REFUGE. Refuge is a time to get away during your busy week and take comfort and shelter in the Most High God. Dinner is served at 6pm and classes start at 7pm. Wednesday night is a mixture between worship and Bible Study Series.
